Types
PVC edgebanding base material is composed of PVC resin, calcium carbonate powder and various auxiliary materials (stabilizer, DOP oil, ACR, stearic acid, carbon white powder, color powder, anti-aging agent, etc.). I. PVC wood grain edgebanding

Solid wood veneer finger-joint edgebanding is mainly used on furniture with wood veneer. This product is glued with non-woven fabric on the back to increase the strength of veneer and prevent it from breaking, and the finger joint length is 200m/roll, so it can be used continuously on the edge sealing machine to improve the efficiency and trim neatly. It solves the shortcomings used for single veneer sealing.
III. Melamine edgebanding
It is commonly known as paper sealing, its advantages are easy to stick, hot and cold is not easy to stretch not easy to deformation, but because of its brittle nature easy to fold, easy to crash in the production of furniture handling.
Advantages
1. PVC furniture edgebanding is lighter, which is relative to metal and plexiglass, lighter not because it is a polymer compound, but because they are organic compounds, i.e. composed of lighter elements such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen.

Testing method
Visually inspect whether the color and texture of the edgebanding strip are consistent with that of the panel used, or whether it is consistent with the designer's requirements.
Check whether the surface of the sealing strip is smooth and flat, and whether there are any miscellaneous points: if there are miscellaneous points or fine hair pinhole-like, it may be made of recycled PVC.
Check whether the back of the sealing strip is flat: you can use a flat blade to jam the sealing strip horizontally to see whether it is straight, such as not straight, the sealing will appear on both sides of the thick glue line.
If the back of the sealing strip is flat, after sealing still appear very thick glue line can be checked according to the following method: Check whether the sawing surface of the plate is flat. If the upper and lower saw blade specifications are not the same when sawing the board, there are small steps on the sawing surface, affecting the sealing edge.
Check whether the hot-soluble glue coating is too thick, check the thickness and pressure of the edge sealing machine adjustment is coordinated: use a small section of edge sealing strip to seal the edge, and then tear it with force to check whether the bonding strength of the edge sealing strip and hot-soluble glue is reasonable and uniform. If the side of the board is even after trimming, if it appears jagged, it may be due to the following reasons: the trimming knife is too blunt; the edging strip is too hard; the edging strip contains too much calcium carbonate. Use nails or other tools to scratch on the edging strip, if it appears broken, the surface abrasion resistance and hardness of the strip does not meet the standard, proving that the quality of the strip is not qualified.
